About

It's a common story that many people can probably relate to. For me, the year was 2024.

Late winter/early Spring, and grinding hard at my 9-5 had left me ground down and burnt out. I was sleeping badly, constantly exhausted and barely had energy for anything outside of work.

I decided things couldn't go on like this. While on a break from work, I started tracking my sleep patterns by writing them physically in a notebook and holding myself accountable. It was incredible -- within about a week and a half, I was noticing massive improvements in energy levels, reduced brain fog, better mood, and the shadows/bags under my eyes were lighter than they'd been in years.

Looking into the science behind it, it became clear that getting consistent quality sleep is paramount to staying in good health. Yet it's one of the first and most commonly sacrificed aspects of our lives.

I started conducting research by doing 1:1 design thinking interviews, focus groups and running a mass internet survey, getting input from 200+ people. It was clear that lack of good sleep was affecting a ton of people, yet few people knew how to improve things for themselves.

A lot of the current solutions tend to be phone-based apps -- yet the number one piece of advice for people struggling to sleep is to avoid blue light or using their phones. These two things are fundamentally at odds with each other.

So I set out to create analog solutions for better sleep in our too-digital world.

Goal

Sleeping better made a massive difference in my life.

Now I'm on a quest to help others make incremental changes in theirs, to helpful experience impactful improvements to their overall well-being.
